What's your story? A brief history: Hangar 77 Bistro first opened for business in Nov. 2010 at 8136 W Pilot Drive, in the Xn Executive Terminal at the Spokane International Business Park. The concept for Hangar 77 was developed to help fill a niche in Spokane, WA for Fresh, Local, Healthy Food from a Menu in a Casual and Friendly Environment. Hangar 77 is a one of a kind experience, with the best views for airplane enthusiasts!!
Where did the name come from? The name "Hangar 77" came about as we are located inside of the Xn Executive Terminal at the Spokane International Airport. Since most planes are parked in Hangar's, we thought it would be an appropriate name for people to come and park themselves to enjoy the food and all of the airplanes that fly in and out of the Spokane International Airport. "Bistro" is a french term for a small restaurant. In the U.S., "Bistro" has also come to suggest a restaurant that is small, hip, fast-paced, community-based, while focusing on creative a la carte dining.
Can anyone eat at Hangar 77? Yes. You do not have to be a pilot or fly in, we are accessible to the public. Hangar 77 is also only 15 minute drive from downtown Spokane and a 5 minute drive from the Main terminal, so its a perfect spot for you to grab a bite while you wait for an arriving passenger and watch there airplane land. Then head over to the terminal.
Hangar 77.. What's it all about? We take pride at Hangar 77 in providing our guests with healthy & full-flavored food created from the freshest produce, local baked goods, meats and seafood available. We never deep fry or hide our food behind heavy sauces or oils, creating a casual dining opportunity for our guest to enjoy great food while maintaining a healthy lifestyle. In addition, Hangar 77 is very reasonably priced so our guests can enjoy great food without breaking the bank.
Sounds great, when can i come? Currently our hours are from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm Tuesday through Friday. Catering is available for all flights at Xn Executive Terminal and also all flights at Felts Field in Spokane and Pappy Boyington Field in Couer D' Alene, ID.
When is Catering Available? Catering is available 24/7, 365 days a year. Hangar 77 is also the Preferred Provider for Executive Flight, Flexjet, Flight Options and Netjets in addition to the NCAA Basketball and Football Teams who travel to Spokane.
Does Hangar 77 take reservations? Currently we are not accepting reservations except for special events.
What types of payments do you accept? Hangar 77 accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Cash and Checks. There is a $29.00 fee for any returned checks.
I Have lots of friends, how many people can Hangar 77 seat? We can accommodate approx. 15-18 guests in our dining area. Special Events and Reservations can be arranged for weekends by calling 48 hours in advance.
